Kimberly Caldwell debut delayed

Fans who’ve been waiting seven years for Kimberly Caldwell’s debut album to finally be released will have to wait just a little bit longer to get their hands on it. The singer-songwriter who first rose to popularity years ago on the second season of American Idol and has since remained in the spotlight thanks to her role as a television correspondent, was set to debut the full-length “Without Regret” on April 6th. But according to a video posted this evening by Caldwell herself, the album will be pushed a few months due to the late addition of a new song to the U.S. version of the album that she had originally recorded solely for use in Europe.

According to Caldwell, the new release date will be in July (possibly the 27th), although it will apparently be available through QVC in May. Fans who don’t want to wait that long can get their hands on lead single “Mess Of You” via iTunes in the mean time.

Beatweek magazine will be bringing you an in depth interview with Kimberly Caldwell whenever her album is released. Her recent YouTube announcement can be found here.
