Cooking to Get Lucky

October 14, 2008

If the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach, new iPhone video show, “Cooking to Get Lucky” asserts that the way to a woman’s bedroom is through the kitchen.

mDialog, the company known for its high-resolution social video, has produced this original show for the iPhone, internet, and Apple TV. Unlike any cooking show you’ll find on the Food Network, “Cooking to Get Lucky” is “calling all guys who need a little help in the kitchen to kick-start their love life.” Co-hosts Bob Guiney and Eden Riegel choose a video request that’s been submitted by a viewer, and then proceed to demonstrate how to create a seductive meal – that’s also easy.

In the debut episode “Health Nut”, Josh the carnivore wants to make a meal for his lady, who’s a “super healthy” eater. In his video he pleads, “I don’t know anything about that. I eat, like, normal food, like hamburgers and stuff…Please give me a recipe. Tell me what to cook!”

After watching the video request, Bob bets Eden $100 that she can’t create a healthy meal that’s also tasty. That’s just a taste of their easy rapport that flows throughout the episode. Bob is the comedian, while Eden the chef plays his straight man. After Eden creates the tasty and healthy meal with the power to seduce, Bob then has tons of humorous reasons to why he can’t pay up.

As a woman, I can definitely agree that women love it when a man cooks for them – we appreciate the effort. So if you’re a guy looking for a date, send in your video request to Cooking to Get Lucky, or just tune in. You may just impress the pants right off your date!
