Fun and Educational Children’s iPad Apps
March 2, 2013 by Daynah
If you have a little one, finding just the right apps to keep them occupied could be a challenge. But lucky for you, my daughter has helped me researched a lot of great apps. Here’s a list of our top 5 iPad apps for this week.

Endless Alphabet – Free
This is one of my daughter’s favorite apps. It’s a little advanced for a one-year old, but she loves the animations and being able to move the letters around. Words are displayed on the screen and the object is to move the letters to spell the word. When you move a letter, it makes the sound of the letter and is animated. Quite fun for a child who is learning how to spell. I’m actually quite surprised that the app is free. There are no ads so your child won’t click on something they shouldn’t.

Another Monster at the End of This Book…Starring Grover & Elmo! – $3.99
This is absolutely one of my favorite children’s apps! Grover and Elmo are incredibly adorable and funny in this animated book. There’s something fun and interactive as each page turns. And the book’s ending is very amusing.

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Road Rally Appisode – Free
Does your child love watching the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse? He/She will absolutely love this app then. It takes your TV viewing experience to the next level. Your child can interact with the characters to complete the task at hand by touching, swiping, talking, or dragging objects. There’s over 20 activities in the app. Lots of fun and best of all, it’s totally free!

Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood: Play at Home with Daniel – $1.99
If you watched “Mr. Rodger’s Neighborhood” when you grew up, you’ll absolutely love this. It’s a trip down memory lane. Daniel Tiger takes you around the neighborhood and his home. Learn how to get ready for bed, play doctor, and post with stickers. I wish there were more activities to do in this app, but my daughter seems to love the animation and characters.
