Beatweek Best iPhone 5 Case For 2013

When it comes to protecting my iPhone, I like to do it in style. And one of my favorite companies for doing the job is SwitchEasy. The TONES is a simple and fashionable option for your iPhone 5.

The TONES is a dual-colored, single-piece shell that is made of a hard polycarbonate and soft rubber material that offers complete protection from everyday use. To match the dual-toned back of the iPhone 5, the TONES has two colors on the back to go along with the original iPhone 5 design.

Getting the TONES on your iPhone 5 is a simple task — just place your device in one side, and then push the other side in. The case will snap into place around the entire device, providing complete coverage. There is even a lip around the front glass so that your screen is not touching the surface when placed face down. Taking your phone out of the TONES is also easy — just push it out from the back on one side, and it will come right out. Nothing is easier.

The TONES provides coverage for the power and volume buttons. There is a small opening for the mute toggle, but it’s enough to comfortably access the switch. The camera cutout is pretty tight, but it’s a precise opening and won’t interfere with photographs. The bottom of the TONES has an opening for the Lightning connector and headphone jack, with optional rubberized cover plugs to keep debris out. The speaker and mic grills are also provided openings so sound is not muffled.

I had been using my TONES case for a while, and it’s one of the best cases you can get for your iPhone 5 right now. The rubberized sides provide grip, while the harder polycarbonate material adds shock absorption. It’s simple, elegant, minimal, and makes your iPhone feel natural to hold. The only negative is that the lighter colors may end up getting dirty over time, but it’s easy to clean.
