Lost Finale explodes Twitter trending topics ahead of tonight’s episode

Tonight’s Lost series finale is going out on a high note, at least in the attention department. After being a consistent lurker among Twitter’s trending topics throughout the course of the day, Lost related topics have taken over the list, with titles including the obvious “LOST series finale” and “Finale tonight” along with secondary topics such as “About Lost.” These items show up in roughly equal ranks for Twitter’s worldwide trending topics as well as in the U.S., suggesting that an international audience is looking forward to finally getting some answers to one of television’s most mysterious shows.
