Owl City finds success in the UK

Adam Young’s synth-pop project Owl City has achieving mainstream success in the United States led by hit single Fireflies, but the Minnesota-based musician is now finding success in the United Kingdom as well. His 2009 album Ocean Eyes, after having gone platinum in the U.S., is now gold in the UK. The good news comes ahead of Owl City’s May 9th concert at O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London, which will be live-streamed around the world via OwlCityMusic.com as well as Owl City’s Facebook page.
