Sandra Bullock’s misfortunes make her even more bankable

Sandra Bullock, the actress who’s become America’s sweetheart, has become even more likable now that husband Jesse James has cheated on her and publicly humiliated her – and that’ll have to serve as the closest thing to a silver lining in this whole mess for the likable actress. It doesn’t always work out that way. As squeamish as it may make one to realize it, there have been any number of high profile cases of infidelity over the years which have inexplicably soured us on the artistic work of the victim just as much of that of the guilty party. And yet because she took a chance on a guy that the world world must have whispered to her wasn’t good enough for her, because she followed her heart, and because that’s what got her burnt, we now like her even more. So even after making one of her worst movies ever (All About Steve), her next movie is likely to do quite well for her. And while it won’t come within a million miles of making up for what she’s having to go through, at least there’s the solace that her professional life won’t have to suffer along with it. Doubt we can say the same for the career prospects of her soon to be ex husband, however.
