Siobhan Magnus voted off American Idol

I have not watched AI since Siobhan was voted out.

I am missing something. She has the best voice of all the contestants. Not in the bottom three before and now voted off????????????? some contest....Wow..............

im saddened about the elimination ... something isnt right...

Siobhan "voted off" has justified to me that the method of voting for IDOL contestants has more to do with power texting than it has to do with talent and marketability of a performer. Honestly, I don't believe that the bottom three are always the real "bottom three". Have they ever, ever provided the numbers for each of the contestants? It is a "show" after all!!! We as the viewing public have no way of knowing if Crystal has really NEVER BEEN in the "bottom three" unless we know the actual votes per contestant. It is a "show" after all!!! I think the general public is getting tired of IDOL and don't like being "entertained" this way anymore.

Siobhan Magnus made the show, I heard ellen wisper to Siobhan that shwe would see her on the ELLEN SHOW TOMORROW? If Ellen like her, maybe Ellen can help her financially? Siobhan Magnus was entertaining and the only contestant who gave me chicken skin she was so fantabulistic...

Siobhan Magnus was the best of 2010, remember it's teenage girls who do most of the voting and teenage girls like cute boys and are jealous of hot chicks who can sing.

isnt that ironic for Magnus to be leaving tonight when next week would have finally showcased her voice in the best possible way with a frank Sinatra song. she has an amazing range and Sinatra would have suited her voice. It really does not matter she will be a hit any way!

I had picked Siobhan and Crystal to go all the way when they announced the top 24. My third choice was Lily.Of the remaining guys, Casey has talent. Aaron is good at country but not much else. Big Mike is a very good singer but he's so full of himself. And Lee cannot sing at all compared to the ladies. Seriously, go back and watch Lee's performances. Every single time he has pitch problems.Here's why Siobhan got the boot - the producers want someone they can control. That's why they praise those contestants who take the judges' advice and do what they're told.Think about it: David Archuleta should have won but his dad made waves. Adam Lambert should have won but he was too intent on having things his way (and coming out as a gay man a few weeks before the show ended surely wasn't the producers' idea.)I think the producers pulled a fast one. Siobhan does what SHE wants, so she had to go.All that's left for me is Crystal. I'll tape it and watch her performances.

Siobhan certainly faltered the last several weeks. She seemed to lose her way, not singing from her diaphragm at all when she wasn't screaming, making her sound very nasally.

How can I invest money in Siobhan's career? She is going to be golden. All the blame for her leaving the show should be directed toward Simon. He was so afraid that Siobhan was a threat to his favorite Crystal that he manufactured criticism of Siobhan week after week. "Giving birth to a baby" come on Simon, is that the best dis you could come up with this week. Unfortunately it was effective enough to get the sheep that follow Simon's words to vote for someone else. As I see it, there are 2 ways we can get even with Simon for what he did to Siobhan. #1 Stop watching American Idol or #2 vote for anyone other than Crystal.

OH THANK YOU!! THERE IS A GOD! I sincerely hope she sits down and reads these posts. While there are some who are impressed by this performer's JOHNNY ONE NOTE show, she needs to grow more, become more mature and learn how EXPRESS rather than IMPRESS. And as Ralph Waldo Emerson said so beautifully to "Get they bloated self out of the way of that expression".

Idol just committed suicide. The show just lost 25% of its audience for the rest of the season. Siobhan was the only reason I tuned in and I won't be back.

Ridiculous to send her home! Siobhan is a true artist. I don't get it. Well, I never watched AI before and won't watch this show again. And I'll really miss her. I looked forward to each week, what she'd sing, what she'd wear... Don't forget to watch/record Ellen tomorrow morning - Siobhan will be on.

Well, its obvious now that the people who vote do not know talent, music and pure stage presence. Siobahn is the most talented and and exciting contestant in several years. I couldn't wait each week to watch but now, other than Crystal Bowesox, who cares!! Watch the ratings go down, down, down.

Crystal they call you mamasox? Then mama me la, your a douche bag and with that attitude you carry I hope you get elimanated next week SIOBHAN kicked your butt last night but I guess the producers had other plans, we all know america's votes don't really count. American Idol lost a viewer in me but I am sure it will survive without me and besides I am 13 years old.

This is pretty surprising, Siobhan was the best on this show this season! This show isn't worth watching anymore, any of the AMAZING singers always gets voted off.

I agree. Now I can stop watching that crappy show. Never watched it before this season and did because she was a local favorite and very talented/interesting. She WILL do better because she did not win. Most of the winners do poorly after their CD's are released anyway. Bunch of BS.

Siobhan in my opinion is the most creative, daring and talented of all the performers on this year's show. I looked forward each week to see what she would do next. I admired her integrity, grace and quirkiness. She will have a fabulous career if she wants one. I would love to see her in musical theater as she can really act, as well as sing. She has a beautiful voice and great range. I wish her tons of luck in the future.

Cant believe shes out.She is more talented then almost all the rest.I hope she has a rewarding future ahead of her.

I'm done watching. Siobhan was the best of the bunch. The idiotic judges should have saved their save for exactly this moment instead of saving Big Mike. Nice guy, but really?

Well Adam Lambert didnt win but look how succesful he is.It will happen to her to companys will probably be jumping to have her.

I can't believe this!!! Siobhan Rocks!!! I'm not worried, she'll end up with a record contract NO problem. Can't wait to see what she does in the future. I could see her performing on Broadway.

As bad as this season's talent and performances were - NOW---- BORING. Siobhan was the only reason I kept watching. Who cares now??????

well i really think siobhan was one of the best on the show this season,she lost focus a few timesbut so did everyone else. look she will do good with out winning this thing. look at adam lambert cleary better than whats his name oh yeah chris something wasnt it..... good luck siobhan

This is insane. Siobhan blows everyone else away. There is something seriously wrong with this show.
