Adam Lambert trip to Europe delayed by volcano

April 21, 2010

With various reports of European based artists not being able to get a flight to the United States for events ranging from New York City club shows to Coachella due to the fallout from last week’s Icelandic volcano activity, it turns out at least one American star headed to Europe has had some trouble getting to the continent. According to Adam Lambert, who returned from his worldwide press tour to the United States this month for his mentoring stint on American Idol, his flight to Europe was delayed: “Prepping for big UK and Europe trip! Damn volcano kept us from leaving this past Sunday… But looks like we are all set now.”

Lambert will be back in the United States for a show at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on May 15th. Tour dates for his upcoming “Glam Nation” tour, which Adam gave Beatweek some details earlier this month, are forthcoming.
