MacGruber movie trailer runs on SNL
April 17, 2010 by admin
So much for the theory that Ryan Phillippe was hosting SNL this week just so he could announce that the upcoming MacGruber movie was a mere hoax. During a commercial break around midnight, a trailer for MacGruber film ran in all its glory. The results? About what you’d expect. Will Forte’s MacGruber nearly gets blown up, uses his bulletproof vest-wearing pal Phillippe as a bullet shield without knowing about the vest, and at the end of the trailer, he asks a female companion who’s on her way to the restroom whether she’s going to take a “number one” or a “number two.”
We’re actually not making any of that up.
Okay, so maybe it wasn’t what we were expecting. So what to make of the fact that the ad for the MacGruber movie aired before an actual MacGruber sketch? Stay tuned. Or, considering some of SNL’s sketches so far tonight, maybe not.

LikeShould make the IMDB list of worst movies. I think the first few skits on SNL weren't bad but I think even the skit jumped the shark to have a full length movie coming out. It's too bad Forte will tank on his first movie, I think he's funny.
