Dr. Seuss comes to the iPad

The list of iPad-optimized apps now includes popular Dr. Seuss titles, The Cat in the Hat, Dr. Seuss’s ABC and How the Grinch Stole Christmas!, eBooks which were each already available for iPhone and iPod touch, along with a new iPad-only app entitled Bowls HD. The latter allows users to use seven different on-screen bowls as musical instruments.

The three eBooks are universal apps, meaning that anyone who’s already purchased them in iPhone/touch format merely needs to install the free update in order to enjoy full iPad compatibility. Bowls HD for iPad sells for $3.99 regardless of whether users already purchased the original “Bowls” iPhone app.

All four apps are available in the App Store.
