Usher to mentor American Idol

According to iTunes, next week will be “R&B week” on American Idol and will feature R&B superstar Usher as mentor for each of the eleven remaining Idol contestants. The appearance coincides with the release of Usher’s new album Raymond v. Raymond which will hit iTunes and other music retailers next Tuesday. As per custom, Usher will offer advice and assistance to each of the eleven contestants as they each prepare to perform a different popular R&B song on the show.
