Perez Hilton descends on SXSW

Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton has announced his plans to descend on this year’s SXSW festival with his own event on March 20th at The Whitley in Austin, Texas. The event will feature musical performances by artists selected by the blogger himself.
According to Perez, “The only word to describe my SXSW party this year is – MAGICAL! The lineup is epic, with artists from all over the world, from all different musical genres, and from up-and-comers to legends. Yes, legends! And, fittingly, this year’s party will be legendary! I can’t wait to come to Austin and deliver a truly MAGICAL evening, with many thanks to my presenting partners at SWAGG.”
Past performers at Perez Hilton’s event have included Lady GaGa (read the Beatweek interview) and Katy Perry (read the Beatweek interview). This year’s lineup will be announced starting March 15th at PerezHilton.com.
