Conan O’Brien launches comedy tour
March 11, 2010 by Beatweek
Referring to it as “a night of music, comedy, hugging, and the occasional awkward silence,” Conan O’Brien has launched a nationwide tour beginning in Oregon on April 12th.
The Legally Prohibited From Being Funny On Television Tour will hit thirty North American cities, including his old Tonight Show stomping grounds of Universal City, California on April 24th and his original Late Night home of New York City on June 1st. The only non-US date is Toronto on May 22nd.
According to representatives from Bonnaroo, O’Brien will also be performing as part of the festival’s comedy lineup in Tennessee on June 11th.
Despite his repeated mock-hate for the nickname during his brief Tonight Show run, Conan’s tour is being promoted via the TeamCoco.com website.
