The original version of Navigon’s turn by turn GPS app for iPhone was strong in its own right, but the app really comes into its own with this new version 1.5 which fleshes out the feature set even further.
Artificial intelligence comes into the picture in the form of MyRoutes which factors your driving habits and patterns along with your location, time of day, and day of week, and offers multiple routing options accordingly. Panorama View 3D offers exactly what its name implies, and will be available via in-app purchase. And because every app is expected to offer it these days, the app includes Facebook and Twitter integration.
At $89 plus another $9 for the 3D feature, MobileNavigator doesn’t come cheap – but then GPS apps never do.
