Mophie Pulse for iPod touch: Beatweek Best of Show 2011

Don’t know what “haptic feedback” means? Don’t worry, you will once you’ve tried gaming on your iPod touch while it’s inside the new Pulse from Mophie, which debuted at CES 2011. It’s an unabashed gaming case which not only has stereo speakers built in, it also provides vibrate force-feedback during the gaming experience. Expected to be priced somewhere in the $79 to $99 range, the Pulse is a winner because it does one thing and does it well: it takes the iOS gaming experience to a whole new level. Now, if only Mophie can be convinced to give us iPhone users a Pulse version of our own down the road. After some hands-on gaming at the Mophie booth, we’re sold on the experience. As such, the Mophie Pulse is a Beatweek Best of Show winner at CES 2011.
