IK Multimedia iRig Mix: Beatweek 2012 Best of Show at CES

Heads up, DJs and wannabe DJs: putting two iPads and/or iPhones together or the sake of dropping beats just got easier thanks to the iRig Mix from IK Multimedia. It’s a small-ish piece of hardware which connects to two iOS devices via cables and offers a collection of knobs and sliders for the sake of mixing things up.

Sure, there are plenty of iOS apps which will allow you to do this directly on the screen of your iPad. But for those who want to use real hardware controls, either for reasons of precision or looking the part of a DJ, the iRig Mix looks like it’s about to take the art of digital DJ-ing to the next level.
