iLuv DreamTraveler: Beatweek 2012 Best of Show at CES

Travel docks for iPhone face the challenge of not only charging the user’s iPhone while placing it sufficiently close to the bed, but also the fact that most hotel rooms don’t offer enough electrical outlets to charge up a traveler’s various devices; if the iPhone dock takes up the only outlet in the room, then what? The DreamTraveler from iLuv conveniently solves all of the above and then some.

First and foremost it’s an iPhone dock which sits on the nightstand and plugs into an electrical outlet. But it offers three additional electrical outlets of its own on the back, along with a pair of USB ports. This means you can charge up to six devices at once, from your laptop to your iPad and digital camera, while only needing one electrical outlet in your hotel room. We’ve seen other attempts at this concept from other companies which didn’t make as much sense, but the iLuv DreamTraveler nails it.
