Those who disrespect Obama over Bin Laden are insulting the entire military
September 17, 2012 by Bill Palmer
When a general gives a gutsy military order and it leads to victory, he’s a national hero. Yet some self- proclaimed military supporters are trying to credit the troops who killed Bin Laden while giving no credit to Obama. These people apparently missed the part of the Constitution that says the president is commander in chief of the military…
Obama ordered the mission, knowing that if it failed he would have navy seals’ blood on his hands and his presidency would be sunk. But he gave the order anyway. Because it was the right thing for America. Because it’s what gutsy military leaders do.
Those so-called military supporters who refuse to give Obama credit for ordering the Bin Laden attack are not only showing their lack of understanding of military chain of command, they’re also insulting the entire military they claim to cherish.
